When being a ball person, on the court,

there is a certain way that you have to be taught to bounce the ball to the Pro. It would be very "pickyune", if it were not that a wrong toss to a Professional or a Celebrity on the court could cause an unnecessary distraction of the match. So you spend time bouncing the ball, half way between yourself and the other person so that you can do your job properly.
It takes some little skill not to call attention to yourself in the bouncing to the ball. That is a service that a young person is called to do that lends some distinguishedness to the game, because people are not laughing at the silly way the ball people are acting on the court. The privilege of being that close to the professionals and the celebrities demands a certain decorum. I am very grateful for Mr. Rooney allowing us the opportunity to participate in these events. To add color to the courts, so to speak. God reminds me how low He condescends to bounce my younguns out and into my playing field now and again. This time the eldest bounced out to Iowa and is bouncing home again and God has her causes and delights in His hands. I am truly grateful. He doesn't have to be so gracious to me to have His hands on their every move, but He acts the humble part, as though I am the pro. Here is your precious ball back, Mommy. He is mighty and powerful, but concerns Himself with these low matters. Amazing Love!
